On April 2, 2023, the CDAS 2023 "Enterprise Digital Transformation and Digital Talent Development Summit", hosted by CDA, was successfully held in Beijing Xizhimen Hotel. During the one-day conference, 26 digital experts and front-line operators of digital transformation from different fields and industries shared their views and suggestions on digital transformation and digital talent development. Digital transformation is the trend

The country has listed the digital economy and digital transformation as one of the key elements of the 14th Five-Year Plan; IDC's report shows that 67% of enterprises worldwide have made digital transformation a core strategy for their businesses, a fact that reflects the clear trend of digital transformation for enterprises, the only way to survive is to transform!

The summit set up two thematic forums, "Enterprise Digital Transformation and Digital Talent Training" and "Best Practice Cases of Enterprise Digital Transformation", involving banking, finance, insurance, traditional manufacturing, new retail, Internet, automobile, real estate, infrastructure and other industries. During the summit, 18 enterprise representatives from 13 industries shared their digital transformation practice cases. Among them, Liu Te, Senior Manager of Strategic Development Department of China Minmetals, showed the digital application scenarios of China Minmetals, including the digital enterprise brain of Minmetals, digital trusted warehouse supply chain, unmanned underground motor truck and unmanned system of underground mine rail transportation;

Li Dong, Vice President of Midea Group, shared the four strategic spindles of Midea Group, the digital transformation history and achievements of Midea Group, and the successful experience of platform-enabled industrial interconnection, based on the way of "digital intelligence" and "industrial interconnection platform", to discuss and help more manufacturing enterprises realize digital transformation.

Mao Yi, CEO of Tianyi Technology, introduced the application and practice of smart helmets in industrial scenarios, saying that in digital solutions, the digitization of manpower is one of the difficulties. Therefore, AR smart helmet is an indispensable tool to obtain "human" dimensional information, which has the important function of transforming "human" information into storable, traceable, analyzable and learnable.

Which industries have the most urgent need for digital transformation?

McKinsey's survey report shows that the failure rate of global enterprises' digital transformation is as high as 80%; the white paper "The Road of Enterprise Digital Upgrade - Analysis of the Development of Digital Transformation of 100 Enterprises" shows that one-third of domestic enterprises have not yet started digital transformation, and half of them are still in the stage of exploring and trying, facing the dilemma that the breadth of transformation is more than enough, but the depth is They are facing the dilemma that the breadth of transformation is more than enough, but the depth is not enough. According to the person in charge of CDA, the organizer of the summit, from the registration data of the event platform, the number of registered attendees from banking, finance and traditional manufacturing industries accounted for more than 50%, with the highest percentage of bank practitioners. At the same time, the person in charge said that a targeted questionnaire survey was conducted in advance of the summit planning, and the results showed that what people expect most is the sharing of real cases of digital transformation of Chinese enterprises, in addition to successful experiences, they are more interested in the analysis and discussion of failed cases, and hope to learn some practical, learnable and implementable experiences. Digital talent is the top priority

Digital transformation needs the support and participation of digital talents. Whether in China or abroad, data scientists are scarce resources, and Saeed Aghabozorgi, chief data scientist at IBM Big Data University, believes that data scientists have years of experience in data analysis and can answer managers' questions, help them make decisions, and provide reports on the basis of decisions. But training or becoming a data scientist is not an easy task.

In this summit, Yu Ce, from Zibo, Shandong Province, is a person who has grown from a common professional to a Fintech data scientist. Yu Ce said that he himself is a CDA certified Level 3 holder and has taken the CDA data analyst system training and Level 3 competency certification exam and obtained the corresponding certificate. His data skills now include mathematics and statistics, data analysis tools and thinking, computers and programming, machine learning and data modeling. This can make him competent for senior data analyst, machine learning engineer, algorithm engineer, data scientist, chief data officer and other positions in most industries.
