In May and June 2024, CDA was invited to teach the data analyst (intermediate) training course of the Changchun Financial Research Institute of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, which invited two experts, Chang Guozhen and Xu Yang of the CDA Data Science Research Institute. This lecture involves data thinking methods and machine learning, linear regression and logical regression case analysis, decision tree and cluster analysis, etc. Dozens of students from ICBC's head office and data centers of branches across the country, operation management, information department, financial science and technology and other departments have broadened their horizons, improved their business skills, and kept up with the forefront of scientific and technological development, so that ICBC can always maintain a leading position in the wave of digital transformation, so as to provide customers with more Good financial services.

Starting from the actual business needs, combined with the typical application characteristics of the industry, and focusing on actual business problems, the teaching discusses the application of data mining and machine learning models in the financial field, including customer acquisition, credit score, subdivision portrait, cross-selling, anti-fraud, violation identification, timing prediction, operation optimization, and process mining. In nine aspects, a templated workflow will be formed, and the model algorithm will also be described, which is convenient for readers to understand the model itself and be used in practical work.

This training improves the students' skills in data analysis ability, can process the company's internal data more effectively, and provide accurate support for decision-making.
