SCRTV is a form of structured thinking, which represents the five steps of Scene, Conflict, Reason, Strategy and Value.
The following is a brief description of this way of thinking:
- Scene: First of all, it is necessary to clarify the specific scene of the problem. This may be a real or virtual environment, such as office, home, social media, etc. The description of the scene helps to concretize the problem, so as to better understand the problem.
- Conflict: After determining the scenario, it is necessary to identify the conflict or problem in this scenario. It may be a conflict between different roles, or a conflict between individuals and the environment. Clarifying conflicts can help you better understand the essence of the problem.
- Reason: Analyze the cause of the conflict. Consider what led to the emergence and development of conflicts. This may involve factors such as personal behavior, differences in ideas, and lack of resources. By digging deep into the cause, you can find the key to solving the problem.
- Strategy: Formulate a strategy to solve the problem based on the understanding of the cause of the conflict. This may include changing behavior patterns, coordinating communication, finding compromises, etc. The strategy should directly target the core of the problem and be practical.
- Value: Evaluate the possible value of strategy implementation. This can involve economic benefits, social benefits or personal growth. Value thinking helps to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of different solutions, so as to make wiser decisions.
