We sincerely inform you that the CDA Level I and Level II examination outlines will be significantly updated on July 25, 2025.

This update aims to ensure that the content of the certification examination is synchronized with the cutting-edge needs of the industry and the development of the latest technology, so as to make CDA certification more forward-looking, practical and rigorous.

The update of the CDA Level I and CDA Level II examination syllabus will involve the modification of the examination outline and the new design of the examination questions. The new questions of CDA Level I and CDA Level II will further strengthen the test of application ability. Test, focus more on examining the practical application skills of candidates at work. Ensure that the value of certification is deeply compatible with the growth of personal professional ability.

Candidates who register on July 25 and later will take the new outline and new question type for the exam. Candidates who registered before will not be affected by the update of this outline. We suggest that candidates start preparing a new exam outline as soon as possible, which will help them get better results in the exam.

I. Changes in the content of the examination:

The main updates of the Level I syllabus are as follows:

New content related to data capabilities and data analysis thinking required by enterprises

New content related to business data analysis framework

New content related to strategy and business data analysis and attribution analysis

New label system and user portrait content (Level II decentralization)

New parameter estimation related content (Level II decentralization)

New data architecture and ETL-related content (Level II decentralization)

Delete the content related to the methodology, ethics and code of conduct of data analysis

Delete the content related to t distribution, card square distribution and F distribution, and adjust to Level II

Delete the relevant content of the relevant analysis and adjust it to Level II

Delete the content related to SQL functions

Delete the content of data management and data security and adjust it to Level II

Trend analysis adds inspection content and changes its name to Simple Time Series.

Increase the inspection ratio of the operation of Excel, BI and other table data tools

The index system and the management content of the index system are listed in one chapter respectively.

Business data analysis and analysis charts are combined into data analysis methods for unified inspection.

The main updates of the Level II syllabus are as follows:

New advanced data analysis thinking, quantitative strategy analysis framework and process content

New content related to data integration and feature processing

New correlation coefficient-related content (Level I floating)

New t distribution, card square distribution, F distribution related content (Level I floating)

New decision tree-related content (Level III decentralization)

New data management and data security content (Level I floating)

Delete the label system and user portrait content and delegate it to Level I

Delete the content of the digital work method and put it in Level I and Level III

Delete the ETL content and delegate it to Level I

Delete the content related to Arima algorithm and move it to Level III

Delete all SQL-related content, and change Level II to only examine Python.

Significantly increase the inspection ratio of Python data processing, visualization and modeling related codes

Data visualization and statistical map-making are listed in one chapter.

II. Changes in the number of test question types and scores:

Level I

85 single-choice questions, 0.8 points/questions, 68 points in total;

20 multiple-choice questions, 0.8 points/question, 16 points in total;

8 content questions, 0.8 points/questions, a total of 6.4 points;

12 case questions, 0.8 points/question, a total of 9.6 points;

A full score of 100 points, 60 points pass.

Level II

85 single-choice questions, 0.8 points/questions, 68 points in total;

20 multiple-choice questions, 0.8 points/question, 16 points in total;

10 content questions, 0.8 points/question, 8 points in total;

10 case questions, 0.8 points/question, 8 points in total;

A full score of 100 points, 60 points pass.

III. Changes in examination time:

The examination time of Level I and Level II is unified to 120 minutes.
