The latest health and safety requirements of the Pearson Professional Test Center in Mainland China

According to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, the Pearson Professional Examination Center has taken all necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of candidates and employees. In order to ensure the safety of candidates, we require candidates to comply with the following health and safety guidelines.

Notes to candidates:

1. In order to protect employees and other candidates, candidates will not be able to enter the test center if the following situations occur, and the exam must be rescheduled online:

Have been diagnosed as a COVID-19 patient or have had close contact with a confirmed (or suspected) patient in the past 14 days ( except for the medical staff who are in contact with the patient and the patient and the medical staff are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment ( PPE ).);

Have flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days, such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath; unless there have been no symptoms for at least 72 hours, no fever, and no fever reducing medication;

Currently in the 14- day home isolation or centralized isolation period required by the government or medical institutions .

2. Candidates will be required to admit that they meet the above health requirements and comply with health and safety guidelines during the exam.

3. To enter the test center, you must present the candidate's valid "health code" at the location of the test center (updated on the day). Please open the "Health Code" applet on your phone to display the "Health Code" page. The screenshot image is invalid. (For the registration of the "Health Code" of the local government of each test center - Beijing "Healthbao", Shanghai "Suishen Code", Guangzhou "Suikang Code", please refer to the official websites of the respective government.)

Candidates need to measure their body temperature and use a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer to test their body temperature (please note: when candidates enter the business building, candidates may also need to take temperature measurements at the building management office). If the body temperature is higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius, candidates must reschedule the exam (free rescheduling).

4. Wear a mask when entering the test center. Medical masks or cloth masks (including homemade cloth masks) are acceptable, as long as they completely cover the nose and mouth. Please refer to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , the World Health Organization or the local health agency to choose an appropriate and effective mask. But it is not allowed to use masks or face masks with exhalation valves. Note that the test center does not provide masks , please bring your own masks. Candidates who do not wear a mask will be refused to take the exam.

5. Please keep a distance of more than 1 meter from others in the waiting area of the test center and during the inspection process .

6. When sneezing or coughing, please cover your mouth and nose.
