We sincerely inform you that the CDA Level III exam outline will be significantly updated and officially launched on December 31, 2025, and the CET-3 exam in March 2026 will be adapted to the new outline exam.

The update of the CDA Level III examination outline is a continuation of the update of the CDA Level I and CDA Level II examination outline. The new examination outline will further strengthen the test of application ability. This update aims to ensure that the content of the certification examination is in front of the industry. In sync with the development of demand and the latest technology, we will pay more emphasis on checking the practical application skills of candidates in their work to ensure that the value of certification and the depth of growth of personal professional ability are in line.

I. Changes in the content of Level III examination:

New time series statistical algorithm ARIMA (uptued by Level 2)

New two-way circular network and long-term and short-term memory network

The operation optimization algorithm is changed to a separate chapter, and new linear/non-linear planning is added (up from Level 2)

Add the content of process mining (understand)

New multi-classified and multi-output content

Add the missing content of the tag

The content of the new model explanation

New abnormal recognition model

Add the content of MLOps and model life cycle management

The basic content of data mining has been optimized.

Uncommon methods of deleting feature conversion

Delete the content of feature learning

Delete the relevant content of the convolutional network

Change the basic content of NLP to understanding (no investigation)

Delete the advanced content of deep learning

Change the relevant content of the large language model to understand (no investigation)

Delete the content related to artificial intelligence

II. Changes in the number of examination question types and scores:

45 single-choice questions, 1 point/question, 45 points in total;

15 multiple-choice questions, 1 point/question, 15 points in total;

1 practical question, 30 points/question, 30 points in total;

A full score of 100 and a pass of 60.

III. Examination time:

Level III Objective questions 90 minutes;

Level III practical exercises (need to bring your own computer) 120 minutes.

The Level III exam time is the last Saturday of each quarter, 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th, and there will be appropriate adjustments on holidays.

IV. Reference textbooks:

Agile Data Mining, a CDA Level 3 certification textbook that has been upgraded and iterated three times, has been published and distributed recently to help candidates prepare for the CDA Level 3 exam.

So far, the test outlines of the CDA certification examination Level I, Level II and Level III have all been updated.
