On May 15, 2021, the CDA Trainee Operation Center invited Ms. Bai Lu, Senior Director of Sales Performance of Mengniu Dairy, to share and exchange in-depth data analysis reports on the FMCG industry. Through sharing with CDA members from the perspective of all-round business logic and actual combat, members have gained a lot.

The topic that Bai Lu shared was " Fast Consumer Industry Data Analysis Report Sharing", combining her learning and work experience, she brought a lot of dry goods. This time, Bai Lu shared his own industry experience and pain points; analysis tools and architecture construction.

Regarding industry experience, she believes that the focus of data analysis in functional departments is linked to departmental functions, and the development prospects are very large; the dimensions of analysis need to be diversified, so that the data output is also more diversified; to directly understand the company’s business, from The data perspective reflects and interprets the company' s operating conditions. In terms of pain points, Bai Lu believes that traditional companies do not know much about data analysis, and most of the data quality is not ideal; for the direction of statistics and big data modeling, there is a long road to development.

In terms of Bai Lu analysis tools, Excel, Mysql and PowerBI are commonly used. When preparing the framework to build, you can start from the following points:

1. More interviews to understand the purpose of the report : the performance presents good and bad trends, special exploration of pain points, and the main area involved.

2. Know more, know the cause and effect : more understanding of the internal situation with the reporter.

3. Collect organization-related information according to needs and ideas : not limited to network information, special reports, and important information from other departments.

Participants in this analysis activity are mainly trainees who are about to complete the CDA training and are in the job search period.
