In order to adapt to the needs of education reform and development in the new era, further enrich the undergraduate curriculum system, and improve students' comprehensive quality and professional skills, Southwest University of Political Science and Law recently officially announced the list of new undergraduate courses in 2025. After individual declaration, expert evaluation and strict verification by the school teaching committee, a total of 20 innovative courses such as "Family Mediation Practical Training" stood out, becoming the highlight of the new undergraduate courses in 2025.
Among these new courses, "Fundamentals of Data Analysis for CDA", this course has been successfully selected as a general elective course, aiming to cultivate students' data analysis ability while enhancing their interdisciplinary problem-solving ability. This course will be taught by Mr. He Bin, a well-known professor of the Business School, in person. It is planned to set 2 credits and a total of 32 hours of teaching content. It strives to enable students to master the basic principles and techniques of data analysis through the combination of theory and practice, and can apply them to practical problem solving.
With the advent of the big data era, data analysis ability has become an indispensable skill in all walks of life. The opening of the course "Basics of Data Analysis for CDA" not only reflects the school's spirit of keeping pace with the times and paying attention to the needs of students' future career development, but also an active exploration and attempt at the traditional legal education model.
